Lymphedema is a condition of localized fluid retention and tissue swelling caused by a compromised lymphatic system. At Libre Physical Therapy our specialty-trained healthcare professionals are devoted to treating lymphedema with Hands-on, one-on-one, 60-75 min treatments in comfortable private treatment rooms.

Treatment for Lymphedema

  • Complete Decongestive Therapy consists of Manual Lymph Drainage (MLD) and compression bandaging, MLD, soft tissue mobilization, scar mobilization
  • Compression bandaging and garments
  • Therapeutic exercises, including range of motion, stretching and strengthening
  • Patient education to maintain decreased edema, posture re-education, body mechanics, skin care
